Final Beauty Vessel
After the discussion, I decided to pick a contemporary-style vessel for my final 3D project. However, some adjustments need to make before it can print. From different angles, it has revealed an issue with the lower part of the vessel. Both sides show a round bump sticking out. The shape should look more modern and contemporary. It should have a minimalist design with smoother lines and a simple structure. Now the vessel looks heavy and bulky.
Therefore, I changed the bottom shape from a big circle to an ellipse. The result is not appealing. I tried to play with the direction of the Loft function. The lower part of the vessel eighter turned out to be too narrow, or it did not connect well with the bottom piece. I wanted to make the line smooth and it connected to the bottom piece with a nice curl.
